Car Stereo Resetting on its own when using USA SPEC

Hello All

I am very new to the board, I found it when doing a google search. Every answer I looked for brought me to a thread on this site so I decided to join and ask this new question.

I have recently had a USA SPEC Ipod adapter installed into my 2007 M35x. I have also installed new HID lens. My problem is, after the HID install today, when I go to play the iPod, after about 5 seconds, the stereo resets completely and I have to restart my ipod to get it to play.

Any idea as to why that is happening? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm one of the creators of the USA Spec installation on this site.

While my car will sometimes not play from iPod, my radio never resets. I simply unplug the iPod, plug it in again, and go.

The USA Spec is by far, still, the best system for these non-iPod equipped cars.
