ok, so I was at a friends apartment and someone broke into my car and pretty much just ripped my head unit out of my car. Now when I turn they key nothing happens. Battery is fine, switched out the batteries and still nothing. Curious if anyone has any insight on what the problem could be. Cabin lights turn on, headlights, tail lights, they all work. However, when I turn the key I get absolutely nothing. Replaced fuses and still nothing. If anyone has any ideas what could have happened I would appreciate it. I just moved and don't really have a very extensive tool set with me, so any insight is appreciated.

By the way, this is in a 93 stock 240sx with a KA. Before my head unit got stolen the car would fire up immediately every time.

Thanks.

If he ripped it out, check the harnesses to make sure that an orange wire on the factory harness wasn't damaged. That's the start signal to the ECU from the key selenoid. Also, check all switched power lines heading to the head unit.

Jackasses might have tried screwing with your ignition wiring too. Check all the wires going to the ignition switch.
