Welcome to NICO.

The car is either in limp mode or the transmission is shot or maybe something else. Is the CEL on? Does it rev up to high RPM yet run at run low speed (transmission slip) or the RPM is limited to 3000RPM or less (limp mode)?

The check engine light is on.. it does not reverse to high RPM.. It runs at low rpm and also reverse at low rpm. the RPM does does not fire more than 2 on acceleration.

Followv "tiger's" suggestion and get a free scan from Autozone and the likes. Get a prinout of the fault code as it will help you isolate the problem. Most likely the car is in 'limp' mode (fail-safe) which can be due to defective sensor(s) - MAF, crankshaft/camshaft, coolant temp, throttle position, etc., or worse, a bad ECU.
