I searched but could not come into conclusion.. (maf/injectors??)

My 1995 240SX having trouble starting... I have to crank it for like a minute to get it running then keep it well above 4,000 rpm to keep it running, other wise it shuts off/dies. While the car runs (I keep it at 3500+rpm) it shoots flames out of the exhaust and smells like gas everywhere.

What is causing this? Thanks alot for the help guys.. (

MAF, ECU, stuck injectors....etc....

Flooding yes, for the 'why' you have it checked out by a tech somewhere. Too many variables to just guess at it, unless you have a lot of spare parts lying around to swap in and out.

EDIT: Oh, and don't keep starting it like that, unless you don't have emissions testing in your area. All that extra fuel vapor can ruin the catalytic converter pretty fast.

Sounds like too much fuel. Fuel injector o-rings or bad injector(s) would be my first guess.
