1989 240sx ka24enow that i sealed all the vacuum leaks (or atleast i think i did) the car starts right away, but does not hold idle. does anyone have a check list for this problem?

my cold, dry compression test is; 150-150-100-150.. my guess is its a bad exhast valve. that shouldn't hold it from idling, should it?

things i have taken off are:EGREGR control solenoid valveBPT valveAIVCharcoal canisterSVC + Pressure regualtor control solenoids

Everything on the intake manifold is capped off, except the port in the top-back where i ran it towards the fuel pressure regulator.

pretty much, only the brake booster and the FPR are the ones getting vacuum..

am i missing anything? also, when i removed the charcoal canister, there are still lines open that used to run to it, but everything intake wise has been capped off.

if it matters, the car revs up fine, but just dies right away if you don't throttle it.

Have you tried adjusting the idle on the throttle body?

i wouldnt say that would be anything in your valvetrain that sounds like fuel delivery. did you check to make shure your fuel filter isnt plugged? i would actually buy a 300zx fuel filter because they are pretty cheap and if thats the problem it would be allot cheaper than tearing aprart your motor to find your valvetrain was intact...
