Welcome to Nico.

What year is your car and what is the mileage?
Have you done any work to it recently or has it been doing this for a while?

If you don't have a copy of the F.S.M. (Factory Service Manual), you can download one from here:

Is the check engine light on? Are all the vacuum and exhaust recirc hoses connected on the engine? Listen closely for any vacuum leaks and while your there try and pinpoint the source of the clicking. Also check the MAF connector to make sure the female pins are corrosion-free and fitting tightly on the MAF. Let us know what you find.

check for cracks or air leaks on the rubber hoses and intake boot after the maf, before the throttle body.

I agree with the above posters.

Sounds like a small vacuum leak. Sometimes they can be pains in the buttocks to locate

Easiest way to confirm a "vacuum" leak is to check the "vacuum pressure" with a $25 sears Vacuum gauge (it doubles as a fuel pressure gauge for carbureted cars as well). Tee the gauge between the Fuel Pressure Regulator (FPR) mounted neat the #7 fuel injector.

"Vacuum" should be at least 18" HG (18 inches of Mercury).
