Hey guys/gals,

For as long as I had the car, I noticed that it cranked over kind of slowly, but it started every single time. As of yesterday, my car has been acting really weird. When I turn the key to the ON position, all the dashboard indicators come on, but as soon as I try to start the car, nothing happens. There isn't even a click, but if I turn the key all the way and hold it there long enough, it eventually starts right up. Something is definitely not right here, and I want to take care of it before my car decides not to start at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
-Alex-

If you aren't hearing any clicking, first look at your starter relay.

Here is where it is located.

Also, here is a troubleshooting chart for starting.

And finally, the wiring diagram for the starter circuit.

Post back what you find if you need additional help.

Thanks! I won't be able to check it out until next weekend, but based on that troubleshooting chart, it looks like I might need a new Starter. :(
