Car Starting ISSUES!!!!!!

So i go to play golf today and after my car has been sitting for about 3 hours I come back to leave and my car wont start. It just kept cranking and cranking but would not turn over. It was cranking at the right speed and all the assesorys worked so i know it wasnt the battery. We tried push starting it and surprisingly it starts but it is shaking voilently and is puffing black smoke. I dont know much about cars but im pretty sure that it was badly flooded. Today was a lot warmer than it usually is so im not sure if that has any effect on it. I was wondering if it could be a bad coolant temp sensor? I am going to take it to a shop this weekend and get a tune up and have them take a look at some things. Any suggestions? Thanks
