Check your MAF connection

Does it sound like a rev limiter when you hit 2500 and when you push the gas more in, it dies out?

It is in Limp mode, or Retarded mode, wiggle / clean the mass air flow sensor (on top of the air filter box) and put back on :-)

You can clean the connection with electonics cleaner and Emory cloth (I think that is how you spell it, VERY FINE SAND PAPER), the actual MAF, I am not sure, I heard some people sprayed something on their in large amounts and let it dry out, but dont quote me on that one...

go to a local aut parts store and get yurself some carburator and choke cleaner and spay dat somebitch out..spay it liberally and watch all the black stuff come out..also spray out the throttle body and the throttle plate...as for the idling..check yur throttle cable position...anf for the revving deal..make sure your wires (plug wires ) are all good and that they are in the right firing order comming from the distributor..good luck

yeah don't use carb cleaner. it leaves a residue. use brake cleaner instead. I'm gonna lock this thread. SR20drftSX, you've already answered ficodecko's question like a champ.
