Hey all my 95 240sx se has started stalling... not really stalling but when I start it I have to keep my foot on the gas for a little bit to keep it started. If I just turn the key it'll start for about 3 seconds then die out. It's not the battery or alternator or starter..everything starts fine it just doesnt stay on untill it's warmed up. My first guess is it's a distributor cap + rotor + plugs and wires.. so I've bought all that stuff and I'm waiting for it to arrive. The check engine light came on today so I decided to take care of it. (Is there a sensor in the cap/rotor..or distributor in general?)
If it's not the above what would the next thing in line be? Injecotrs need cleaning/bad? Vaccum lines?
Anyone with knowledge appreciated.

Yea.. drives fine.. it's just for the first 10-15 minutes i cant take my foot off the gas.. after that it's fine.

no, battery is fine. After I've been driving for a while the car wont stop when I stop. If I've only been driving for a few minutes it will stop if I stop.

check the code via instructions in the FAQ section at 240sx.org and see if its a code 13

I had the similar problems, but I had found out that some of my vacumm hose from the EGR valve & PCV Valve are cloged out and unpluged, so I ended cleaning them & plug them right where they go. Now works fine. Try this out it may work.

Had car plugged in today, a friend of mien got a ecu reader I have a bad knock sensor and a bad idel air sensor. The lack of staying on without pressure tot he gas pedal is due to bad wires + spark plugs
