ok so i was on first gear and i deccelerated hard in my 1995 240sx le. and right before stopping i hit the clutch. and then outta nowhere the engine stalls. im going to be tracking the car this summer, so i really need to diagnose this problem and fix it. help and advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.

i believe the main reason is fuel starvation under hard decceleration. what would i need to do to fix this? better pump(walbro)? fpr?

how low are you letting the rpms drop before you push in the clutch?and at what rpm is it stalling?

1200-1400. and revs drop to idle after i pop the clutch in and then it just stops. at first i thought it was me, but then after it happened again i realized nope definitely not me.

i doubt its ur fuel pump, wouldnt make sense for it to run fine during acceleration and then not work under decel.

u turboed with bov?

bone stock ka24de. no i was wondering fuel starvation under hard decceleration. the s14 brakes suck so i was wondering how that was even possible.

what im getting at is that your fuel pump is delivering constant fuel. ur acceleration and deceleration is not going to change how much fuel the fuel pump is pumping. now, if ur fuel pump is delivering enough fuel under hard acceleration then there is no reason for ur pump to not be delivering enough fuel under deceleration (ur car uses more fuel under hard acceleration then under deceleration). so, the problem lies elsewhere.

any luck with the iacv?

Not your fuel pump, as previously mentioned scan your iacv of if you can find a 240sx manuel there should be a section on sensors and how to test them and all you'll need is the mechanic's best friend aka multimeter and you'll find out if it's good of if it's bad.
