So i was finishing up my engine swap. I am doing a 96 s14 motor into a 91 s13. So what i did was use the s13 dizzy, s13 intake, s13 wiring harness, and s13 ecu. And viola. It starts. But it stalls. What i have noticed was that there are two plugs that are not being used. I looked on the s13 motor and there is a bracket of vaccum lines with two connectors(that go to the same two that arent being used on the wiring harness). This bracket is not on the s14 motor. So what i am guessing is that i need to put this bracket on the back of the s14 motor and hook up those connectors and vaccum lines(lol) and my car will run fine. Right now what happens now is the car just stalls and the only way to keep the car going is with the throttle. Does anyone know if my guess is correct? Does anyone know what this bracket of vaccum lines and connectors do?

my friend did the same swap as you but hes in jail for a while so sorry. But your problem does sound like a vacuum leak try hooking up those lines and see what happens.

oh and how does the car idle? is it rough?

I am going to try to hook those hoses up tomorrow. I am sure it will work. The car idles fine. But after 10-15 seconds it stalls if no throttle is applied.

Yep.. still not working correctly. I used the upper intake manifold as well.. if those butterfly valves have anything to do with anything.
