My car is constantly stalling now after starting it up. This started happening immediately after a burn-out that I did.

Right after my car stalled by RPM dropping down and stalls out. I start the car it does the same thing unless I keep my foot on the throttle.

I don't know what I did. Can someone help me?

Thank you for your time.

Are you serious?? No one can help? I thought this was a mechanic section? I've already done a search and nothing came up on stalling after burn-out.

Geez. Didn't think this problem was too hard for anyone. But I guess no one is competent enough to figure this out.

12:42 - 3:10 = 9 hours and 32 minutes. Did you really expect a free answer in less time than it takes most people to go to work and back? And on a Sunday, no less? Would you care to mention what kind of car you have? Why the hell would you insult and be rude to the people you are asking - nay, DEMANDING - to help you? In short, what the **** is wrong with you, man? ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS?

Lets start over here. When you come in here you are getting FREE help from people who normally get paid to do THE SAME DAMN THING at work. We come home after a long day at work, and what do we do? We hit up Nico to help MORE people knowing that any help provided is FREE. Why on gods green earth would anyone want to help someone who is rude and spouting off about not getting FREE help in just a few hours ON A ****ING SUNDAY? Why don't you try to provide some more info so someone actually has a decent chance at helping you, and hope that someone else comes along who isn't in a pissy mood and who has a kind enough heart to overlook your hideous manners.

I will return and apologize for my harsh words later. Right now I'm a bit too perturbed.

Geez.. Sorry I did not mean to insult or diss on anyone. I don' t know what made you think that. I don't think what I typed was an insult.

I'm sorry that you're in a pissy mood, but please don't take that out on others. But if taking your pissy mood out on me made your day, then I'm happy for you.

By the way, my car is a 92 NIssan 240sx. It started to stalled out after I did a burn-out. If I"m not on the gas pedal, then it would stall out. It could idle sometimes, but then stalls out. I hope that was enough information for you.

Again I apologize for your misunderstanding and pissy mood. Hope you feel better and have a better day!!

if we're not doing a good enough job helping you, take it to a mechanic and you'll get it fixed right away.

Damn bro, you need a break, lol, you come in here and ***** about not getting an answer in 30 seconds, this is a free forum, second you diss the moderators, administrators, and the people in charge of this website along with all those who contribute by trying to hellp you. And then you get all defensive and post every 3 and 1/2 seconds. Who's the real computer nerd and geek? Stop yelling and pull your finger out of ur a-hole before someone bans you.

A - You shouldn't have been doing a burnout.

B - If you dont know shyt about cars you definately should not be doing a burnout.

C - Take your orange-tape taillights and lambourghini doors and neon door handles and head over to a dealership, cause I doubt anyone wants to help you now.

I found it for you.

There's the rudeness right there. And God forbid you ever speak to me in the manner you spoke to any of the other posters here in person, it'd be your last "burnout".

Plenty of people here are COMPETENT enough to figure it out, you didn't provide enough information.

Do you have an automatic or 5-speed? What's been done to your car? Is it the original motor? Modded in any way? How are you doing a "burnout"? Brake stand? Dumping the clutch?

First order of business is to check for vacuum leaks, Mr. Impatient. Get some starting fluid (comes in an aerosol can) and spray it around your intake manifold while the car is idling. Hopefully you're competent enough to work an aerosol can and know where the intake manifold is.

If the idle fluctuates, then you're close to finding your vacuum leak. I'd bet it's near the back of the manifold and involves either the IACV or the fuel pressure regulator. If you can pinpoint the leak, it's an easy fix.

Come back and let us know what you find, and Step 2 will be forthcoming.

I am sorry for my earlier behavior. While I meant everything I said, I did not need to use the inappropriate tone. I suppose something about your post just hit a nerve, but that does not excuse my attitude. I did not stop to think about how likely it was that I would turn your thread into a flamefest. I acted out of line and I hope you'll forgive me for it. I still feel that you were also out of line and I see that others feel the same, but if you would like to start a new thread, I believe I speak for all of us when I say that we can put this behind us and help you get your problem solved.
