So i was driving today and all of a sudden i press on the gas and it was not going anywhere in the middle of the street. I stopped to turn off my car and restarted it started working fine other than a "Service Engine Soon" Light came on that stayed on.. (BTW the "Service Engine Soon" VDS SLIP? RAS? lights were on as well when the car was not accelerating) After restarting the car the "Service Engine Soon" light stayed on and which i was still able to accelerate.

Middle of the day i went to the stealership and went to get it fixed (under warranty, thank god)

The diagnosis the accelerator sensor went out and part was $300 bucks + Labor

Everything seems to be working fine now.

My question is has anyone had this happen to them before? Never had this happen to any of the cars I previously own so i wasn't sure if this was a freak of nature incident... mind you guys I only have roughly 82k on my car right now.

Looks like there is a TSB out for that issue:

Subject: Engine Hesitation or Stall at Idle or Very Low Speed
Summary of ITB10014:
IF YOU CONFIRM The customer reports any of the following: Engine hesitation at idle or very low speeds, and/or engine speed drops lower than expected when decelerating or coming to a stop, and/or engine stops running at idle or very low vehicle speeds (parking lot maneuvers), but can be restarted.
