Hey Nico. Im finally home from Iraq and went and picked up the car this weekend. I was pretty stoked since it fired right up and appeared to be running strong. However, after about an hour on the Highway I did a 4th gear pull and the car started to sputter violently once it was over about 15lbs of boost or so in the upper RPM range. The AFR was still good though. I did however notice that my Profec B was not responding to any of the changes I was dialing in and the car was pushing past 18lbs and then starting the sputter at about 20 where the boost held. My guess is that the boost controller is not working and as the turbo continues to spool the waste gate is opening up which is causing the the turbo to cut in out maybe? Maybe fouled plugs?? Help me out here. Oh and I'll def have some pics up tomorrow for you guys. Waiting on the last shipment of goods from ole' Japan to get here with all the Origin goodies, will take pics when they show up. Going to pull the plugs tomorrow and get 4 news ones. I'm getting the sneaking suspicion that the spark is getting blown out after driving it a bit more tonight. Any recommended plug gaps? Running 1000cc HKS injectors, GT3076R, AEM EMS, 18lbs of boost. Also any ideas why the Profec would read boost pressure and vacuum but not be controlling the boost? Bad solenoid??
