car sputters???? and its draining my battery???

hi guys need a lil help. when i hit the gas semi hard the car will sputter . seems to me like its the coil packs or spark plugs but im just wondering if anyone has any ideas. also the car seems to be draining my battery pretty quick. i got a new battery about a month ago and its dies pretty fast on me. id really appreciate soem help guys thanx
