car sputtering?

i went and got gas yesterday (87) and when i went to pull out onto the highway afterwards my car lost like half its power and it sputters. i figured it was bad gas so i went and got fuel treatment, iran the 10$ out untill it was almost empty than i put chevron 93 in it. then got somemore fuel treatment and octane booster and engine restore and put it in it. but that still did not work. it only sputters when i push the throttle down so far. if i barely give it any gas it works fine. then today the engine light came on. it said my NOC sensor was bad? could that cause it? i have no idea what a noc sensor is or does. if anybody knows anything please help me. i also changed the spark plugsa lil while ago and not any better.
