Car sputtering out during idle....any solutions?

Okay well ever since I got my 240 it's been running fine but the other day I was idling at a stoplight and it just started sputtering out for no reason. Idle speed dropped down to about 300 rpm and everytime I would let out the clutch it would die. Then I would have to start it back up and it ran fine afterwards but then a few minutes later it would do it again. But one thing I noticed is that it only seems to do it when it's hot outside, but my temp gauge says that my engine's at normal operating temperature. It's been pretty chilly here ever since then and it's ran fine, but it warmed up again yesterday and it started to act funny again........does anyone have any idea what my problem could be?
