Well, do you like more mid range or hi range sound? Cause the only speakers from alpine that will fit are 2-ways which is a little better for mid range sound. With the Memphis's you can get either 2-way or 3-way speakers. 2-ways just have 1 tweeter while the 3-ways have 2. Apline and Memphis are both really good brands, its just Memphis is more of a top quality brand and ive heard the difference between both of their 2-ways and I kinda liked Memphis a little better. As far as the pricing im not sure, I would think they would be right around the same price range but dont quote me on that. Im not sure of the pricing because I have a friend in the car audio business so everything I have in my V I didnt pay retail price for.

i have infinity 2 ways all the way around. Over alpine, they are a lot more crisper... alpine has a deeper tone. Im a HUGE infinity fan, so im going to say go with them =p

I have the Reference 6022i's...

but keep in mind, with any aftermarket speakers, your not going to get NEAR the sound you could get with an aftermarket headunit/amplifier because your getting a lot less power..

just my $0.02

True that man...and infinity is also good but they need some work on their subs. I put up my old memphis pr sub against 2 of the infinity ones, im not sure what kinda of infinitys or the power of them but mine was 800 and it sounded way more clear.

Infinity makes realy great stuff.Cant comment on Memphis - never heard them or heard of them for that matter.

Just dont let the store hacks take a knife or a saw to your car!

Good luck

It would be better if you installed the speakers yourself. Then you know that you did everything right and you save money. Since you are not adding an amplifier and new wires, all you have to do is take off your door panel (tutorial on nissanversa.org), take out the old speaker, splice into the speaker wires and connect the new speakers.

Check em out, most people never heard of them because they dont sell their stuff to any store (i.e. besybuy etc.) And i love my memphis sound, i have a sub, door speakers and tweeters and i cant tell you how clear and crisp the sound is. I actually prefer them over infinity and bose. Bose used to be my favorite until i found out about memphis.

I have the Infinity Kappa 2-ways. Plenty of bass. They fit without mounting brackets & give you plenty of clearance for the windows.

I got two pair for $115/pair when they were on sale.

After about a week, I was fed up with a rattle coming from the speaker frame vibrating on the door frame. I removed them & placed a bead of silicone caulking on the speaker frame. Not a rattle since. A <$2.00 solution for what I could have spent $100+ for with that sound absorbant asphalt padding.

Dang dude, who did you go to to get that pricing. I paid about $120 for the Dynamat trunk kit and to have it installed. My whole entire trunk is lined with it and I got a quote for having them do it around the door speakers and out the door they said $60
