My car speakers decide to randomly stop working at times for some reason. Initially i thought that when i go over a bump thats when it happens, but i sat in my driveway and my car wasnt even turned on and my speakers were working fine but then out of nowhere the sound went. I know it is something in between the deck and the speaker becasue both the rear and front speakers stop working. The only thing i can thing of is the wiring so i opened up my dash and there were so many wires i didnt know what was what. The thing is the all looked ok, they were neatly wrapped up and secured. Any ideas on how i can know what is what without pulling everything apart?

Anyone know of any wiring diagrams available for a 97 180sx so i know what im looking at? Im not sure if my manual mentions anything because it is in japaneese so i have no ide what it says.

Wiggle the wires on the speakers in question and see what that yields. Did you try here for the service manual: Nicoclub.com/FSM

also make sure that the harness in the back of your deck isn't loose/damage ;p

the vibrations from the speaker can shake the wires. check the wires from your speaker if they are plugged properly. and looking from the color of the wires from your speaker you can trace it back to your radio.
