You can either run your own speaker wire (preferred and probably easier, and will likely sound better; required if you have an amp for the door speakers) or modify the stock wiring to bypass the stock Bose amplifiers (annoying, but works fine in my case). Honestly, it's probably not awfully difficult to run speaker wire to the doors... I've not done it, but it's not difficult to pull up some carpet and remove some door trim to hide the wires nicely.

Yes, all you need to do is run wire to each door.

if your changing the headunit, it is controlled by that so it will be fine. you cant keep the bose stock one as bose uses some dumb output voltage system and ohm system its like 0.2 or 0.3, which if you use it, your speakers will be quiet as hell.

Vice versa of the issue, i put in my 7in touchscreen before the speakers, and i would put it at the max volume which is 40 and it sounded like crap, because the bose things provide special ohms and all.

with the new ones in, (they are alot more powerful and running off a dedicated amp) but i put it up to only 1/3 or like 16ish of the volume, it gets pretty loud, around 25ish is like good for only a little bit because its ridiculous how loud it gets. When driving the most i usually have it at is 18

I want an upgrade to my entire system but, I hate how Aftermarket units NEVER blend with the car. If someone can find a good powerful head unit that looks like it belongs, I'd buy it.

Best of luck edogg27

Get a Double Din.

No matter what unit you get, from what im understanding it will not full fill up the gaps but after 3 weeks of having it, youll love it, and ignore the tiny gap it leaves cuz its not noticeable. Do what everyone else does and change your interior lights. Every light in my center console (shifter, gauge lights, hvac units, time, compass thingy, 4wd shifter) and you know what... it looks normal so have at it.
