Ok so i got my sr tuned, i made 300 hp at the wheels with a gt35r. I have everything built. I am running an open BOV for now. I was driving kinda hard and shifted from 1st to 2nd and shot a nice flame out the back. After this happen my power seemed much weaker. Also my car kinda sounds like a WRX now. I think i blew up my cat, i have a highflow cat if that helps at all. Any ideas on what it could be would be awesome.

flames on the SR are all too common, especially with a test pipe or high flow cat

might sound dumb...but you were spooled up right? lower boost and no spool will make you seem slower since well...you are

might be something with motor and fuel/spark delivery itself.....but if it runs fine except loss of power im not too sure

yeah it runs fine, it actually seemed to run a little better expect for the fact it didnt have the power it did before. I know flames are common but i still thought it contributed to something wrong.

From my experience... SR sounds like a WRX when its running either pig rich or 3 cylinders.

Pull the plugs out and Id bet that they are sooty black.

Id check on fuel and spark delivery.

SR sounding like a WRX is usually not a good sign.

im sticking with mine and ilikemy idea of it being ignition/fuel related

lets pray thats all it is....and hope if you are down a cylinder is due to no spark
