my car is shuttin off by its self and using way 2 much fuel i think its flooding itself while drivin and thats the reason its shuttin off idk any suggestions

well it would help if you told us what car you have, what motor,mods,how long its been swaped,have you changed anyting on it lately

240 sr20det blacktop i have put 1200 miles on it switched out fuel pump fuel filter got fmic with greddy type rs bov and converted battery to the back of the car other than that its all stock .....could the ecu possibly reset by unhooking the battery? other than the shuttin off it runs like a champ i'll just be driving down the road and it will just shut off and then i pull over let it sit for about 5 mins and then start it back up ?any suggestions

Check your fuel injector o rings. They could be torn or worn down and dumping more fuel then you need. I had the same problem with my sr. One day it ran nice and the next day it would have a hard time starting. My oil had a lot of fuel mixed in when I changed the oil after I put in the new o rings. make sure you change your oil right after you fix it because it is bad for the bearings. Let me know how this comes out.
