car shuts down

My car seems to to run fine and then it will just shut off like someone turned the fuel off and after a few turns the car starts up and runs fine anyone had this happen to them if so what was it.

i have seen a number of people whose stock fuel pumps will not support the sr. if i were you, i would run some fuel injector cleaner and if that doesn't help, upgrade to a walboro or something..that's just my .02 though.
