Well, today I'm making my annual trek, on Good Friday, to the NYIAS. The holiest day of the year for car fans. I’ve gone every year since the late 80's and I always look forward to see all the new stuff and dream about my new car. Is anyone going this year? I’m looking forward to seeing the new G35. I've seen some pics and it looks hot. I always check out the American cars to see if they can finally get it right. They never do. I want to see the new Camaro show car. From the pics I've seen, it looks real hot. Then when we're done, we're going to The Old Homestead for a nice steak dinner, don't tell my priest, and a nice bottle of cabernet. It doesn't get better than this.

i'm probably going to go this year. i've usually gone on the next week like on a wednesday or thursday, but this year i'm going on the first day. i was on the website and it said that today (friday) is a sneak preview. does that mean that the public can't see all of the car? anyways i've got my hard drive camcorder handy and 20 hours of free space, i'm good to go.

believe it or not, there was a line of people who wanted to sit inside the car. i didn't want to get selfish so i stepped out. i did get to play with the stereo which was equipped with the bose. nothing to special, probably not worth the extra money. personally i think the 3 10"s in my G50 have a better sound.one thing that did bother me was this year there was no company rep standing around the Q. i talked to one last year and she sent me a brochure. i guess infiniti i focusing on the M more.

Well, not exactly. They look identical but...

40mm vs 50mm offset. Does the higher offset (50mm) mean it sits out wider than 40mm offset?

Went to Denver show weekend before last. With current gas prices Honda Fit is starting to look good.

That was a cool little car. I'm almost thinking of going small myself. I like all the storage. All it needs is a little more power. It's 109hp. The Fit weighs about 2400lbs. All you need is about 130 or 140hp and that thing would fly. You have to start thinking these cars will start making more sense as apposed to SUVs that are way too big.
