car shaking

i jsut got a 240sx...everythin is working fine...however when i take the car to about 50-65mph it starts to shake the steering wheel..i checked out the car and everythin seems fine.. can someone please help meeh...im afraid to drive fast cuz i dunt wanna loose control..thankz

sounds to me like a tire and/or rim problem. Check over the tires closely and look for any signs of damage and try balancing them. That may help, but there is the possibility it is a bent rim or a tire with a pulled belt.

thankz..could it also be alignment problem? at low speed it doesn't shake the steering wheel...thankz
