I came to a tire burning halt about 30 minutes ago and now my car is shaking badly (it gets worse as I increase speed).

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Could it be that I severely flat spotted one of my tires?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Naw bro, your car is probably cold. Put a blanket on it.

Seriously, you might have belt separation on the tire. Feel around on your tires for a bulbous raised area or anything out of the ordinary.

I'm gonna also say flat spot, especially if you locked up and slid for a real good distance.

Warped rotor would usually shake more when stopping. Flat spoton tire usually changes with speeds.

I'm thinking that I did flat spot my tires. It doesn't really shake when I hit the brakes; however, the shaking becomes more pronounced as I increase speed.

I guess it's time for a new set.

I need 225/50/16.....any suggestions? Bridgestone, Hankook, Dunlop etc?

Thanks
