I tried looking this up, but doesn't seem to fix my problem. Well, just like the title saids the car shakes violently at 70. I was thinking it might be the alignment, so I went to get that done, but it still has the shake. I also have Tein T/C rods, might that cause the problem? So I was wondering what other possibilities of what might be wrong. Again it is a 95 240SX. Thank you in advance.

I would also say take your wheels in to get balanced.

Yup. Check the wheels. They might be out of balance or "out-of-round"... Does the vibration stop at some point beyond 70mph? Have a buddy drive next to you at that speed and he should be able to confirm at least one of your tires bouncing like a basketball if that's the problem...

btw - didn't the tire shop at least mention "balancing" to you when you asked for the alignment and told them about the vibration?

My wifes car did the same thing, turned out the wheels her brother put on it had the holes bored out to fit the lug pattern.

are wheels hub-centric? correct lugnuts. take it to a les schwab or discount tires and ask them to do a road force on the tire and wheels and that will tell u exactly what the problem is. i work at discount tire so thats y i know :)
