As title says, when i'm on the freeway on curves going about 60+ the car starts to shake so heavily that it's scary. Also when i switch over lanes, the car shakes when i hit the markers.

I was recently in a hit and run but nothing to excessive, i'm assuming it's a ball joint failure?

Any thoughts or info would be greatly appreciated, i just want my Z back on the road with no problems :frown: Thanks in advance!!!

A few issues come to mind - Alignment issues (especially rear toe) can cause the sketchy feeling over bumps, so get that checked.

Vibration when turning sounds more like a bad wheel bearing, shock, or ball joint.

Really, this is one that needs to be addressed on the rack at a competent suspension / alignment shop. You don't have to have them do the work, but they can diagnose your issue better by seeing it.

Also check your tension rod bushings, as they tend to go on these cars.

But an alignment shop is your best bet

I was having a similar issue with my 93 z. When I turned right it would grind bad getting worse as time passed. Eventually I lifted the front of the car and spun the wheels my driver side front wheel spun way less freely than the passenger wheel. Turns out it was the wheel bearing. Got the old one off and took it to the shop. For Twenty bucks they pressed the old one out and put the new one in. Trust me take it off yourself but take the hub to a shop it takes tons of pressure to press these bearings in Lol I was using hammer and chizle method tink.tink.tink not working. With the new bearing in my issue was solved PS twenty thousand miles later the passenger side one is still fine never been replaced as of now I have 270k on the car and engine.
