car shakes

I have 92 240sx when i turn the car off it starts shaking for a second or 2 a friend says i need new motor mounts, wanna get other opinions,thanks for the help

Could be the motor mounts. Car could also be "dieseling" still running a bit when you turn it off.

I think it could be dieseling,how exactly can the problem be fixed

Thats what I was thinking. Honestly I can not tell you how to fix that tho because I have only seen that with diesel trucks, and I have no idea how to fix that. May have to do with timing but thats just a guess. Sorry...

yup i looked it up on google might reset timing see if that works

Timing may fix it, hopefully it does. Check to see if your car is running rich. Carbon deposits could have built up in your motor and are still igniting unburnt fuel when you turn the car off.
