Well i just got my car back after wrecking it 2 months ago an it hasnt been started until now. But anyways when i drive the car an i put on the brakes to come to a stop my shakes, an also when i put the car in reverse it shakes. I was just wondering what could be the problem for why its doing this?

usually shaking on brake is caused by rotors in need or resurfacing. shaking in reverse? i dont know. is it like a misfire?

both mine and mu buddy's car shake real bad when we hit the brakes.. both were in front end collisions... though neigther bad. i dont know about him but i just replaced the rotors like.. 6 months ago. so i doubt its my rotors.. was thinking maybe the rack bushings? or the rear control arm?

It depends if the car shakes in movement or at a complete stop...if it does it at a stop than it could be a miss probably on cyclinder #3 and if that is the case than it would be between idle and 2000 rpm...for in movement the brakes are applied; than it is time for a resurface of rotors or new ones...there are couple of questions that need to be answered but this should be a start if this isn't right than re-explain the problem!

go to the stop tech web site, they have the break in procedure that will keep them from "warping" (acually caused by uneven pad deposits, not heat like commonly stated). 6 months will be enough time if they were n ot broken in, read some of the tech info on the site and im sure that will help
