I would change oil/filter, coolant, gear lube in trans, fuel filter, air filter, check your tires for dry rot, then I would add a fuel additive that removes water, and maybe a gas can of 93 octane, then i would just fire her up.

9 year old gas isn't going to do anything any good. Best to get rid of as much of it as possible before adding something like ISO HEET to get rid of moisture, and THEN add some top-tier high octane.Might be good to disconnect a fuel line and run it into a gas can, turn on the fuel pump, and empty the tank most of the way. Either that or siphon it. Just remember not to run it completely dry with the fuel pump--pumps die quickly if run dry.Heck, you might even want to buy a mechanical pump and just pump it out. You can get directly to the gas tank very easily by removing the rear seat bottom, very easy spot to use a pump and it'll also let you get a good look at the condition of the tank.

You might also want to mix a can of BG44K or at least some Techron in with the second tank of fuel.

Look at getting brake, clutch, and power steering systems flushed. All three have fluid that becomes corrosive as it takes on moisture, and over 9 years I imagine they have developed a pretty high moisture content. Getting fresh, non-corrosive fluid into those systems is important.
