So this morning i go out to find that my cars fan is not working at all as there is no air blowing through, hot or cold. its the worst time to happen too as its -14 Celsius and theres about 2 inches of snow on the ground. Anyone know whats wrong, my guess is blown fuse but i dont see how. I did however plug in my block heater (canadian car) for the first time last night, any ideas?

May have blown a fuse or the relay is busted for it. That sucks. That's pretty cold, you must be out west are you?

Honestly I wouldn't bother looking at it, I'd take it to Nissan right away to get it looked at. Get them to let you know what's wrong. Should be covered under warranty.

Oh and to add to this, last winter we had like -20 and below. Didn't need the car plugged in at all. No starting issues.

Yea, im from Edmonton, it sucks too cause winter is just starting, first real snowfall this year, gonna be great when its -40 and a foot of snow. my brother brought it in to Nissan today. the foreman said he just had another altima with the same problem, the whole control assembly had to be changed for that one.
Sidenote: the car is a 3.5SR with 4400 km on it  wouldnt expect problems this early

That totally sucks. Yeah I'm in Halifax. Kinda weird they said another Altima had the same issue. Might be solely a 2010 issue. Haven't heard of anyone else having this issue (yet) haha.

Ah ok. Well under warranty. Not everything can be 100% in every car. My friend bought a civic not too long ago. Brand new. Had to take it back for drooping headliner, scratched door handle and mirror. 3 handles were ordered and all of them came scratched. They ended up taking a handle off the show room floor car... lol.

The car had 200kms on it. lol.

Don't let this deter you from the car though. The car is built very well and is very reliable.
