I cant drive the car unless i let it warm up for 10 mins, otherwise it falls on its face giving it any more gas then 5%, then after its warm i mean driving for 30mins to 3 hours it still sputters, bogs at 0-3 psi boost but i can gas right past it. this just really bothers me because when im cruising it happens alot and i have a 5 hour drive to beaver run in a few days plus a 3 hour drive back to PA from NY.I just replaced my timing belt, set timing, reconnected my broken knock sensor wire,z32 maf, raised boost to 11psi, plugged pcv valve to run a catch can, thats all i can recall.

PS not too too concerned but im still lean as hell at idle

any helpfull advise would be a great help, thanks

Why did you replace your PCV valve to run a catch can. That is most of your problem right there. Put the PCV valve back in and see how she acts.

The PCV valve is supposed to rattle. lol. It means that its not stuck from carbon/oil residue build-up.

you can replace the pcv valve with another one but you will need one. otherwise you are just leaking vaccumm/boost and your maf is freaking out loosing that air into your head and out the other side.

well if it's capped off you're not leaking it exactly.. but you're still breaking things. the engine is a sealed system from the MAF all the way to the exhaust - there should be NO leaks anywhere in between.

PCV allows excess crank case pressure (i.e. blowby) to get sucked into the engine, combusted, and exhausted. You don't want to run without it, bad things happen. Sometimes "funny" things too, like dipsticks shooting out (pressure will always find the path of least resistance, eventually).

This is my hell as well. I replaced my PCV and I still get his symptoms (as you all know by now) But mine are less severe (1-2 minutes of warm up and issues go away totally)

ive talked to a couple of CA owners that all have this problem, yet no one can figure it out and fix it. Is there no anwser?

Have you changed the AIV (Cold start valve)? This puppy has the power to cause driveability issues as well. When it's bi-metal plate gets stuck between open and closed, your car will give you issues.
