The check light is on, but i can't remember if it's always been since i bought it or what... I checked oil-good, sparks-good, runs well. But i like many others have the problem w/the Battery/Brake light being buggy as hell...

I guarantee you its an 02 sensor... look for a code 33 on your ECU read-out.

33 If I remember right...

your cat's prob rotted away and the 02 sensor is sending a bad signal to the ecu. That is if you are 95 and up

(yeah pretty much what those guys said. however, chalk up another post for me)

It should be located on the exhaust manifold.

oh and if you cut a knuckle while fixing your car, heat up the engine and cauterize your knuckle on the manifold - stops the bleeding. no shat.

Well i posted about the ECU shiat on the Technical part of the forums. And i finally know wtf is going on. So i'll check the ECU and prolly just replace the sensor like Truslide said. Prolly the reason why i am runnin lean.. i think it's lean anyway.. My sparks are pretty new and aren't as white as they should be. You guys are rad. You make workin on my car myself 100000000x easier.

In my area, if your check engine light is on, they will check your ecu and tell you what the problem is for FREE, they probably do it everywhere, you should check.
