Hey my fellow owners, I have a 2011 M56 sport. Bout 3 weeks ago my radiator cracked leading to a somewhat expensive repair. While I had it torn down I went ahead and changed the thermostat and spark plugs. Well the past couple of days my car has been running a little hotter than normal, but today it almost ran hot. Makes me believe the water pump could be on it's way out also. Anybody have any ideas or seen something similar?

Make sure you don't have air in the system.

Did you use an OEM thermostat? Aftermarket thermostats are notorious for failing in Infiniti and Nissans.

Check, for air in system. Use oem stuff and probably best to service the water pump. Don't over heat you will regret that.

The waterpump on our engines is not something you service just cause. It is internal and ran by the timing chain. Nissans very rarely have a waterpump failure. It is not impossible but most last the life of the engine.
