first how can you tell if your maf working are not? and everytime i unplug my maf the car die. does that mean the maf work? but i cant rev over 2500 rpm.. and if i use a sohc maf how does the wire match up.... black, black/pink, pink...

If your talking about the ka24e maf then wire it like this.

Black goes to CA black = groundKA Black/white goes to CA black/white =12voltsKA white goes to CA green/black = signal 0-5voltsCA green/yellow no connection

Have you tried pulling ecu codes?

KAE and CA mafs aren't interchangeable. The car will run, but not well.

i did pull the ecu code. frist i gor three code, temp sensor/ knock sensor/ and maf, i fix the temper thank to Float_6969 using form the ka, but now the MAF and knock sensor. cant find any CA maf around.

There are directions in the stickies to wire up the ka-e mafs, but you'll either need a SAFC to compensate for it being wrong, or get the chip tuned for the mafs. Getting the chip burned is preferable.

first i like to thank for all your help wiht my ca18det' first nissan ever' but it time for me to give up,, i try every possible way to fix the problem with not going pass 2500 rpm, i even chang the MAF and it still wouldnot let me pass.. so i dicide to bring it to RedLine hyperformance shop hope there can help me with the problem, thank for all your help
