anyone and everyone give your knowledge on your rights as a civilian when you get pulled over by the blue and reds... imo its important to know your rights and vehicle rights as a civilian no matter where you live... im in CA

*i know you have the right to refuse to have your hood popped without probable cause and consent of owner*i know that vehicles pre 1996 can have a modified intake if all factory vacuum lines and electrical connections are legal w/o a carb legal sticker on hand*i know you can refuse a vehicle search if officer has no probable cause or consent of the owner(same as getting hood popped)*i know you can have a swapped engine if the engine is in the same engine model family(91 ka24de to 98 ka24de or vq series to vh series)

anyone can add more, i know there is more...

i havent had a problem yet... but many people i know have... its a good area to live in, parts are within a 30min radius... but some people get stripped of their rights if they dont know them

your personal property... eithor your house or car...If you are still in it and you are getting arrested for bullsh1t like, because the cop is mad over something you did not provoke... use your rights!dont open the door... once u do so u envite him in... reguardless of he said she said... Also while sitting their let them get a signed, "by a judge," arrest warrant.I have sat on the side of the highway, for three and a half hours once... they pulled me over for speeding in the middle of the night. 130 plus in my friends vette. Just got a speeding ticket, everything else thrown out of court, and the punch line is that i did not get arrested.the cop was pissed,he really wanted me in jail.The cops have a way of using peer pressure to get people out their cars, dont let it happen to you.If the cop opens the door it is like opening the door to your house and walking in. Remember it is your property not theirs. Certain curcumstances do apply like if u are drunk etc. This took place in texas.

* You have the right to ask for a look at the radar gun and a good rule of thumb is to also ask when it was calebrated because it really messes with the cops. I know that from personal experiance me and my dad where coming around a tight 90 degree turn in our F-150 when the cop pops us saying we were doing 60 in a 40 zone my dad was like "wtf? do you see a sports car let me see your radar gun" cop response " sorry sir I cant do that" my dad " I have the right to see it" this goes on till the cop interupts " YOU HAVE NO F*CKING RIGHTS!" bingo no ticket and once the chief of police got there he turned out to be an old high school buddy of my dads so the cop got demoted and my dad got any ticket he had from that officer cleared up ( the cop targeted our truck and stopped us like 4 times before this). so knowing your rights FTW!

i know from personal experience, that i have the right to remain silent and anything i say can be used against me in a court of law. lmao. seriously, if a cop wants to pop you for somethin, they will.

case in point, anyone here ever been arrested for lookin at a cop? i have. was it dropped? yes. did i spend the night in a nasty a** jail cell with piss and s*** smeared all over the walls? yes

i could just see me tellin a cop to get a warrant to search my car, id be pulled out, tazed, and get "knocked" around a bit.

kind of. the swapped engine has to be an engine offered in the same car, of the same year or newer. meaning, if you have a 92 240sx, it would actually be illegal to swap in a sohc ka.
