Here is my dilemma. The car will start, but then die immediately afterward. Even if I romp on the throttle.
But if I unplug the MAF it will actually idle at like 25-3000. Does this mean the MAF is bad?
Maybe i have a vacuum leak? Maybe the gaskets on the intake manifold aren't completely sealed?
Timing is good. I did the timing belt twice to make sure.

Sounds like a dirty or bad AFM. First check the codes on your ecu to make sure there is an electrical fault on that circuit. If code 55 is displayed, then your am is dirty. If code 12 is displayed or flashed, check the wiring or be prepared to change the AF>
