car pull to the side when braking??

this question is from my friend.. he done a brake job about 2 months ago.. and now when he brakes, the car wanted to pull to the side..

anyone know what's wrong with that car??

Alignment is probably out of whack, or older bushings/bent suspension members are causing slop in the front suspension that is manifesting itself as a tendency to dive to a side under braking, a situation where front toe is critical to the car's dynamics.

i agree, also if one of the front caliper is more pressure than the other the car will pull to one side, check your rubber brake lines to see if one is swolen when you step on the brakes.

one caliper(piston) may be sticking, or he needs to maybe grease the slides on the caliper

Check out your lower control arm bushings for wear and to make sure they are tight. My 97 S14 was doing the same thing with new brakes etc and i found the bolt that goes through the lower control arm busing loose! Talk about a scary thought - have that come apart at speed...ouch.
