Sooo, now that I've had my car back together for a couple weeks (after its 4 month hibernation on jack stands) I've finally been able to clean it up for the most part and take it out for some verrry much needed cruise time. This past weekend I decided to try my hand at photography and took some "glamshots" of it atop of a parking garage in downtown Columbus. Whadda you guys think?

haha sorry if it seems like an excess of pics guys, but I was pretty stoked about how most of these shots came out. I am disappointed by how much quality goes down once you upload them to photobucket though...

pretty much ripped out everything under the car suspension wise, and did a total restoration of the undercarriage of my car. haha every bit of the process is documented in my build thread if you get to check it out sometime...

agreed. all I have is a Canon digital camera which suffices all my needs as somebody who wants to snap a few pic here and there. If I wanted to go pro-style I would buy a SLR, but that's a waste to me. basically the pics are "nice" to me, as in the average joe who isn't a professional photographer. I guess what I'm saying is I wasn't trying to say these pics were high quality, but more along the lines of I was happy with the way they looked all things considering.

Check out his build thread you'll find out. This man did the whole rear suspension all over again, by that i mean he made it look it came from the factory....

haha thanks man, that means a lot!
simmode1 wrote:18x9.5+15's, right? What tire sizes and coilovers?
the battles on my car are 17x9.5+15. I wish I was baller enough run 18's lol. tires are 235/45R-17's on all four corners, and it's currently riding on TEIN SS coilovers. this is basically the setup the car came with, and I'm pretty happy with it. fenders had to be tucked and slightly rolled in the F&R. the TEIN's ride quality to me seems pretty smooth, but then again, I've never ridden in another car with coilovers. slight rubbing in front on the front of the wheel wells during hard cornering. I gotta get new tires next year, and I don't know much about being hellaflush, haha so I'm hoping it will give me a chance to learn about what tire size is best and be able to mess around with fitment and stance.

soo maybe you guys can help me out since I've been a little confused. the camera I'm using is a Canon SD1400, it's a 14MP camera and relatively new. when I upload the pics to my computer, they are pretty good quality and are huge, like 4320x3240, you can zoom into the pic like 10x's and it doesnt distort... but once I upload them through photobucket, they get all compressed and are much smaller like 800x600 or something like that. so my question is, are the pics I have on my computer considered "high res," and if so, how can I upload them up to NICO so that remain large and HQ ?? just throwin that out there to anybody that might know what to do...

next time you take pics in the dark turn on your lights... even just the parking lights themselves make a HUGE difference in appeal ;) looks great though!
