Car Problems After Swap

I just swapped my my 89 240 over to a 95 ka24de and its running like crap. The engine is fine and when it idles it runs perfectly. The car will only idle with the MAF unplugged and it wont rev over 3K with out it. As soon as you plug the MAF in it starts to sputter then dies. We get a new MAF which fixed it running rich but it still wont idle when its plugged in. When the MAF is in its like you have to keep fighting with the throttle to keep it alive. Also the Engine keeps over heating. We replaced the thermostat and refilled the coolant but it still over heats.

Iread something similar to that earlier on here. We think the ECU might be bad. The engine is out of a 95 and this wiring harness is new.
