Hey ... I am humbelled by the expertise of some of you our there in e land and I was wondering what would you recommend as to car polish. I just gave the V it's first with a product called Amoral Car Wax gel and I was not too impressed. Any thoughts ... someone said that NuCar was great.

Zymol is a great wax, but careful when waxing a car if you have never done so before, I learned that the hard way waxing my first car, I thought I had done a good job, next morning go to drive and it was the worst thing you could ever see! Washed it real good, soaped her up about 3 times to remove ALL of the wax. I now know better.

I've always used Meguiars products and enjoyed the shine I got from them. I used turtle wax before, but it made my old car more dull than before I washed it.

I also use Meguiars. Although Turtle wax and Rain Dance is the only other product I've used.

As for store bought, I would say Zymbol.

To directly answer your question, Zaino.

Meguiars is a favorite as well as Eagle One Wet. They both do a great job. Remember a polish is used to make the car shine and the wax goes on afterwards to protect. Rain X makes a wax that will have the same effect on rain drops as their windshield treatment. I think I may try that.

I usually would first ScratchX the swirls out and then use Maguier's Deep Crystal Polish with plenty of micro-fibers. Finish it off with some Gold Class Wax or NXT Wax to keep it protected.

You asked for the best? here it is; http://zymol.com/shop/item.asp?PID=1378&scID=25 It's a little less than half the price of a new Versa S. This is the REAL Zymol. The Zymol you see in the department stores is made by Turtle Wax. I use Mothers California Gold, and Meguiars Gold Class.
