car poisoning?

after i installed myheaders i cant tighten the EGR metal valve all the way, and the check engine light is on. is the EGR leaking poisonous vapors into the ****pit of my car ? when the vents/ac is on?

if the egr is leaking, then yes it is. they are as poisonous as the exhaust, which can be vere dangorous as carbon monoxide is very deadly and has no taste or smell

Gah...why is it that I get more and more swayed away from any obx products when I hear their horror stories.

I have an idea--if you don't need the emissions crap, just get rid of it. Fab up egr blockoff plates (one for the header, one for the intake mani) and weld/have them welded on.
