Car part scammer HELP

Need your help, Calling out to all Honest hard working car enthusiasts on this board.

Edwards30 is a member of this board, I found this by searching a email address that I paypal'd for an ecu I never received. He contacted me from this phone number 1 563 506 2766. After I did not receive my ECU I started digging. A simple search of this number bring up 2 reports of him being a scammer! ( I wish I looked first!), the third comment is mine. Edwards30 has a post on this board using this email as the paypal for payment. So like anyone else I'm pissed and considering a vacation to Iowa... Moreover I don't want anyone else to get scammed! this may be a new thing for him or maybe just a way to make money but everyone deserves to know. Maybe he can chime in EVEN.

He will not answer any phone calls and yea he has Verizon. Hopefully this dirt bag will refund my money! or send me the ecu. Otherwise I recommend you avoid and ban! feel free to spam the hell out of his number too, like many I HATE scam artists.

I did not think that law enforcement would be able to help, but I most definitely will be stopping by the police station tomorrow and pushing to do whatever they can.

What you need to do is contact the popo and let them know what up, if they look into it and don't find anything, well then just go pay him a visit, don't act like posting this kindof stuff on any board has ever gotten anywhere but a lot of people acting like they care about ur lose of money.

I had a guy try to scam me over some z32 brake calipers. He eventually sent a set after I messaged him on Facebook, MySpace, and some enthusiast website for Jordan sneakers.

I appreciate all the help guys! and even the "constructive criticism to get over it" as ill call it. I have been calling this tool from different numbers and he finally answered! I played around for a minute then dropped it on him that he ripped me off , he denied of coarse and hung up.

SO.. he is definitely avoiding my calls after we discussed the deal over the phone

if you have some written proof of a transaction you can file charges but thats only of there is written agreement.

also paypal is secure but costs the seller on top.

and i'd beware of "harassing" this guy via phone, text, etc.. that there is provable and is punishable by law
