I did a search and basically got it down to either the timing chain or the radiator itself. I doubt its the thermostat cause I recently changed it. The car drives perfect when i dont go above 3000 rpm's. But when I drive the car hard or even sometimes when I miss a gear and rpm's surge my car starts to overheat. First I notice that my idle goes up to 1000 rpm's and then slowly the temp. gauge needle rises. Everytime this would happen I would just turn on heat full blast and it seemed to go away. I think it could be the timing chain cause I hear a lil clanking sound from the engine but Im not really sure. ALso my radiator is a lil bent but there are no leaks. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Well, i'm not an expert by any means. I could try to help. Have you recently drained and filled the coolant system? I recently replaced my water pump and i refilled the system. i drove around and the temp gauge would be at it's normal place. Then i started driving it hard and the temp gauge would rise up above it's usual place and start to get close to overheating. Then i got home and heard some gurgling and bubbling on the top radiator hose. So i checked the radiator and i'm guessing i must have had a good air pocket in the system because i shook my car around and kept filling until it was totally full. after that then everything was fine. Search around on how to burp the coolant system if that's what you think it is. If anything, i'd check out your water pump maybe... Hope that helps

You may want to pull the radiator and have it flow checked. That is if you followed Luke's advice and rebled the coolant system.
