Car overheats in higher gears, but cools off when I stop.

When I am driving on the highway, or back roads, I notice that my engine temperature rises while in 4th and 5th gear. When I shift out of gear, and into neutral, the temperature starts to decrease. It will only go back to normal when I stop. I am not too sure what could be going wrong with it.

Can you please be a bit more specific? Your description of the problem is rather vague. BTW, how many miles on the clock? When was the last time you had the cooling system serviced?
