I did a search and basically got it down to either the timing chain or the radiator itself. I doubt its the thermostat cause I recently changed it. The car drives perfect when i dont go above 3000 rpm's. But when I drive the car hard or even sometimes when I miss a gear and rpm's surge my car starts to overheat. First I notice that my idle goes up to 1000 rpm's and then slowly the temp. gauge needle rises. Everytime this would happen I would just turn on heat full blast and it seemed to go away. I think it could be the timing chain cause I hear a lil clanking sound from the engine but Im not really sure. ALso my radiator is a lil bent but there are no leaks. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Inregards to the over heating at high revs. if you had a timing chain problem it would most likely act up all the time. This sounds more like a partially sludge up radiator. Good luck
