Alright, first off my car:

1991 s13 KA24DE 5-Speed (original, not converted from auto)
rebuilt engine with an s14 exhaust cam 240/232
timing is dead on at 20 BTC
has HKS Hi-power exhaust
Fat a** aftermarket plug wires (10.5 MM) excluding coil wire, it is stock.

everything else is stock.

Next let me explain the order of events:

1. Car would idle rough, thought it was the MAF, the ECU just had to re-learn and it was running good.

2. Car would run on 3 cylinders (missing #4) at times, and either fix itself, or it would work after I popped off the wires (could just have been from my moving the engine though)

-To diagnose this problem I tested spark, got spark on the cylinders just fine, switch #3 and #4 fuel injectors, when I switched the injectors the problem moved as well so I bought a new injector.
--With the new injector the car ran like a champ, the best it has ever ran.

3. next morning the car was running like s***, I had to go to work so I drove another car, and when I got back my car wouldnt start.

some details about the current situation:

I have spark at the coil to the coil wire, and from the coil wire to the cap.
I have weak spark from the cap to the plug wires
I have no spark from the wires to ground (when I tested them, my guess is since the contact is recessed pretty far in there, it is to weak to jump the gap)

CEL throws codes 11 and 14 (CPS and knock sensor)

I have been trying for a few days to figure out what is wrong with my damn car, I have searched all over the internet and gotten mixed results, I do not want to go replacing everything to find out it was something ridiculously simple.

Thanks. :tisk:

so, I also have no tach signal, and there is oil in my dist, time to pull it and see if the CPS has oil in it, if so then I'll need a new o-ring
