I have just replaced the starter because I was told the spindle wAsnt extending. New battery because the old one wouldn't hold a charge. And I just replaced the clutch so I don't know if it could be from us not plugging the transmission wires in right. It ran for about a week after changing clutch(stage 3, if it makes a difference). When I turn the key all dash lights come on. I'm able to roll down the windows and everything so it's not a battery connection. We are able to push start it and it starts every time. And it clicks once when I turn the key. Please help me I'm really stuck!

Chill, skippy. You posted during work hours on a monday, of course you aren't getting responses flying at you left and right. Even that aside, sometimes it takes more than a few hours for someone to actually stroll through and read your thread to respond to it - not everyone who views your thread may necessarily be able to answer your question. Be more patient, lose that nasty attitude it doesn't make people want to help you, and check your starter relay and ignition relay.

I'm just trying to get my car back on the road seeing how it is my DD. sorry to the people I offended I'm just really getting fed up with this starter. Went to the local part stores and they can't find the starter relay part number. And could you point me in the direction of the ignition relay? I tried unplugging the starter and it makes the same noise when it's not plugged in. Do you think it could be short of power to the starter?

That's fine that your frustrated, but your car not running is not the fault of anyone on here, so it's not fair to direct your wrath at undeserving people, who you are asking for help, just cos you're having a bad day. You only get to complain about the service if you're actually paying for it. When asking for favors, attitude never, never helps.

The same noise with the starter unplugged still points to the relays. That sound isn't the starter, that sound is the relay not firing right. So of course it would still make that sound even with the starter unhooked. The starter relay has to be gotten thru Nissan, and the ign relay can be gotten anywhere IIRC. All relay locations are shown in the FSM.

I believe one of those relays was the issue in the other thread you asked on.

Well is there anyway to test it? I'm getting a volt meter tonight.
